locked HVAC template?

Hi!
I'm working at my diploma at the moment, simulating the building i am studying with a couple of softwares.
Although i found almost the same value for losses and gains in both of them, the total heating consumption is very different...so i think that the only difference in the modelling could be the setting of the heating and mechanical ventilation system. But, when i try to modify the templates of HVAC or at least to add some new ones i cannot because that library is locked... Shocked

so how to proceed? the result i get with the simultion in DB is visibly lower than the real consumption and the other software...
i am using now the 1.1.1.006 version (in the newest one i found some problems)...is it possible that for the mechanical ventilation is naturally setted a heat recover? and, eventually, how to modify this setting?
moreover, I would like to know if it is possible to view the equations that the program uses in the calculation of the parameters (dispersions, earningses, heating, cooling...)...are there some laws i can download form internet? or maybe you directly have a manual or something like that?

lately, in the model options, i modified the HVAC from simple to compact and i could add some new informations but, when running the simulation, it occurred in an out of stack problem.
how to solve it?

We have reproduced this problem on our computers, but do not yet have a solution and have requested help from EnergyPlus support. I will contact you with more information as soon as I have it.

EnergyPlus support have explained that the reason this problem is occurring is that DesignBuilder is requesting air flow rates to be autosized but is supplying fixed cooling capacity. They recommending either autosizing both or fixing both.

We will find a solution to this problem as soon as possible, but will not be able to start work until September due to the holiday season.
