Dear Steve,
Just a quick question:
Do you think, based on your experience, that the DesignBuilder CFD modules is able to simulate environmental condition and comfort for white rooms assisted with mechanical ventilation?
Could you see any limitation of the software in this specific case?
Thank you so much,
Best Regards,
Emanuele |

Hi Emanuele,
It is difficult to answer this without knowing details of the specific project. Generally speaking, if you can supply all of the boundary conditions in the form of velocites, discharge angles and surface temperatures then you should be able to use DB CFD without any particular problem. However, if for example, you need to be able to automatically calculate pressure drops across HEPA filters, this feature is not currently incorporated within DB CFD and you would need to be able to specify the diffuser face velocities explicitly.
