Hi forum,
When trying to edit the exported idf file, the following message occurs:
IDF PARSING ERROR
Too many fields for object: AirLoopHVAC:ZoneSplitter
Line number:175616
It appears on line 276359 Zone Equip Inlet,
This error may be caused by a missing semi-colon at the end of an object. Not all object have been loaded into IDF Editor and data could be lost...
And the fact is that when I go the listed line, the semi-colon is there. The problem is that this error appears referring to several lines, and there is a lot of information missing on the file.
One thing I did notice is that if I export the same file, but without selecting any HAVC system, no error occurs.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens, or what could I do to solve it.
I am already running the latest version of DB and energyplus.
Thanks |

Could you post the dsb input file that generates this error?

Hi Andy,
I am facing some internet issues today and couldn't upload the file. I was only able to sent it through the supportdesk email.
Thank you

Not sure if this is relevant to the thread, but if you were editing the IDF file in the IDF editor -- it does not recognize extensible objects. EnergyPlus does, DB does (or used to) create a custom IDD for the model being run. _________________ Linda
