HI,
I asked to provide a lot of simulation data for buildings. Energyplus is what i tend to use.
Will DBSim provide me with a quick overheating calc (hrs over 28 degrees) that is reliable to go back to the client? |

Yes DBSim generates exactly this sort of data but we advise against using it on projects until we have put it through rigourous validation tests. We expect to be at that stage later this year.

HI,
Thanks great news..
I have had a go.....but after a dbsim calculation has completed, i go to distribution and the room...nothing comes up..
dont know why..is it temporarily disabled. because that function speed would be absolutley worth its weight in gold

Yes thanks for reminding us that this function is not working at the moment. The temperature distribution calculations are in place and awaiting being hooked up to the outputs.
