Hi All
Just started using designbuilder this week - I have a site where the buildings are very similar but some slight changes on partitioning etc
I was under the impression I could model one, copy it to make a new building on the site, then amend that, but when I copy my building it just adds the zones into the existing building. I have created another building, but how do i get my copy over to it? Is it feasible? Can't find anything in help.
Or should I just 'save as' and have them as different jobs??
All assistance gratefully received. I am sure there will be a simple solution. |

Yes you can create new buildings from existing ones by going to the site level and using the clone building command. From what you say it sounds like you may be cloning blocks at the building level which adds them to the same building.

| Thats my problem - I see no clone tool, or clone option in the menus when at site level... |

| OK got it, I was dragging a square round to highlight the building which doesn't give you clone, but clicking it at site level does. |
