Hello,
I have two questions about the modeling of the district heating. First, I want to know why the district heating system can be approximated if the efficiencies are set to be a fixed value of 1.0 (I mean why this fixed value should be 1.0 rather than 2.0, 3.0 or other fixed value). The second, the chiller consists of condenser loop and CHW loop. So I do not know how to set the efficiency of chiller. Is the COP of chiller the efficiency of chiller?. In addition, I add zones and AHUs in the model of HVAC system by using the detailed HVAC type. However, since there are a lot of zones, I can not connect all of these zones with just a boiler due to the fact the connecting lines are too dense. Therefore, I added some boilers to serve all of these zones. I want to know whether some boilers rather than just one boiler will be against the rule of district heating. I am looking forward to your reply, thank you very much!
