Solar PV over multiple buildings

I am modelling a building which is split into two units. The whole building has 20 PV panels and the building is equally split in half, therefore having 10 panels for unit 1 and 10 panels for units 2.

When calculating the BRUKL / EPC for, say, Unit 1 (and thus turning off the blocks/zones for Unit 2) do I need to enter 10 panels at site level or 20?

At the moment I am entering 10 panels, assuming that DB doesn't spread the PV over those blocks/zones that are turned off. Is this correct?

I would think that you declare just 10 panels if they are for independent EPCs. On the HVAC tab, declare Number = 1 and aperture area = 10 x panel area.

I assume for 10 x 1.63 m2 panels it is also okay to put:
Number (number of panels): 10
Aperture area = 1.63 m2

I think that means ten independent systems and you will incur additional system inefficiencies: try it and see.
