Are there any plans to allow for a elevation dxf to be imported on the surface level for the purpose of tracing window sizes and locations?
In addition, is there anyway that an interior light shelf be incorporated into the glazing or drawn as component block inside of a block or zone?
Thanks,
Will |

Yes, this is something that we're considering, possibly for version 1.0 but if not, certainly for version 2.0.

We will shortly be releasing a beta version of DB that will incorporate a mechanism for creating libraries of re-usable components or assemblies. As part of this mechanism, there will be the facility to add assemblies (and component blocks) at the block level.

Hi all,
It would appear that the elevation dxf function was never incorporated. Is this correct?
It would be a very useful function.
Thanks,
Jonathan. |

Hi Jonathan,
This feature is still on our development list but I am afraid that in the past it has been overtaken by other priorities!
However, we are adding a range of new geometric modelling features to the software this year and this is one of the features scheduled to be included.
