Does any one know how to cut a hole in a floor slab to form a void between the first and ground floor??
Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

If you select either the floor of the upper zone or the ceiling of the lower zone in the navigator, you can then select the 'Draw hole' tool from the toolbar and draw a hole on the selected surface. This will cut a hole through the connecting slab.
