I am experiencing serius fatal errors in the last version of DB (1.1.1.006) with the application closing after the windows error. I have tried in a fresh windows XP installation and it also happens. I have never had this problem with the previous versions till 1.1.1.
I just create a block with the default parameters for new site, new building and it freezes and when I add a second block, the application shutting down in the Updating dialog.
Has anyone have any similar problem?
Is there any log file (windows itself creates one) that I can send you so you can find out the problem?
Thanks in advance. |

I haven't been able to reproduce the problems you describe on our computers here. Could you please send in your log file by starting DesignBuilder, creating a new file and from the Tools menu select "Show log file". Click on the button at the bottom of the dialog to send the log file to our servers.
Please let me know by e-mail when you have sent the log file.
Thanks

OK, Looking at your log file, your computer graphics adapter does not have OpenGL acceleration and while sometimes it is possible for DesignBuilder to run without this, in general you do need a good graphics card to run the software. We have had good success with the ATI Radeon range of graphics cards, but most modern graphics cards supplied separately from the motherboard should work.

Thanks for letting me know.
