With 18 years experience as a building services design engineer, I became involved in energy modelling when I was asked to investigate the implications of new Part L Building Regulations in 2002. In 2006, as further changes to Building Regulations came in, I set up CHB Sustainability to offer SBEM calculation services to a range of clients. I am registered on the BRE Competent Persons scheme for building CO2 emissions rate calculations and accredited to produce level 3 & 4 EPCs.
