DesignBuilder SBEM is a high productivity replacement for the iSBEM program. It can be used for producing EPCs and Building Regulations compliance reports.

DesignBuilder SBEM has approval from UK Government for Level 3 and 4 buildings. A free trial version can be downloaded here.

Version 1.5 adds significant extra functionality including:

DesignBuilder CFD is a new easy-to-use tool for predicting airflow and temperature distribution in and around buildings.

It uses the same methods as the general purpose pure CFD packages, but at a fraction of the cost and without the need for any specialist knowledge.

The CFD module will be first released in beta test form in July 08. A full implementation, including links to EnergyPlus will be available with the release of v.2.0.
